Fall 2024 GVBR 13U Travel Team
We are excited to announce that our Greater Vienna/Falls Church/Annandale Babe Ruth League will be starting a pilot travel program at the 13U division this fall. We will host games in Vienna and play travel teams from other Babe Ruth Leagues throughout NoVA including Arlington, Springfield, Pioneer (Alexandria), SYA (Centreville), NFC (Reston/Herndon), Manassas, and Stafford, and possibly also Greater Loudoun and McLean-Great Falls. We will also look to play in multiple tournaments this Fall season.
Our goals are to field competitive travel teams, focus on player development, and keep costs at a minimum, all while hosting many games and most practices right here in Vienna! We have engaged with professional coaches and local baseball studios to help with establishing a player development program for our players as they adjust to playing on the big field.
In order to be eligible for 13U, your player cannot turn 14 on or before April 30, 2025.
We are looking to roster two teams, with the top team playing at the Triple A/Metro level.

Founded in 1951, Babe Ruth Baseball League was created for ballplayers ages 13-15 who wished to continue their baseball playing experience beyond the age of 12. This is where players get their baseball cleats muddy for the first time on standard 90' diamonds under Official Baseball Rules used by Major League Baseball.
